Mumbai — Actress Anya Singh has addressed and dismissed rumours suggesting she is the daughter of Pooja Dadlani, Shah Rukh Khan’s long-time manager. The speculation emerged following her role in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut series, The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, which has gained considerable attention for its compelling content and viral dialogues.
Anya clarified that the rumour was unfounded and shared that she and Pooja found the false claim amusing, stating that they laughed about it. Her statement aims to put an end to the misinformation while the series continues to receive acclaim and online engagement.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Anya explained, “It was surprising. I think people misunderstood when Shah Rukh sir compared me to Pooja, and I think there was a hiccup in translating it.” She cheekily added, “But I never denied it. I went with it.
