Alia Bhatt announced her next film with Vasan Bala, following the success of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone. The actress will co-produce the film alongside Dharma Productions under her company, Eternal Sunshine Productions. The movie, Jigra, is scheduled to hit theatres on September 27, 2024.
On Tuesday, Dharma Productions announced the news on social media. The message said, “@aliaa08 is back to fight bravely for her #Jigra like no other! The Vasan Bala-directed film JIGRA will open in theatres on September 27, 2024. The production company additionally produced a video along with the announcement.
While the plot of the film is kept under wraps, the reading sessions reportedly began in August and the plan is to go on floors soon.
